AMCHAM Committees
Aims to enhance member/government relations, highlight members' contribution to the Malaysian economy, and advocate changes and improvements needed to elevate the competitiveness of Malaysia, especially the Electrical and Electronics (E&E) industry. MAEI has always enjoyed a good working relationship with the Malaysian government and regulatory entities since its inception in 1989. The committee participates actively in government dialogues and is frequently consulted on issues concerning the local electronics industry. The committee consists of 17 member companies, covering both semiconductor and non-semiconductor industries. Most of MAEI's members have been doing business in Malaysia for the last three decades.
Malaysian Alternative and Renewable Industry (MARI)
Promotes Malaysia as an ideal destination for the renewable energy industry, works closely with the Government of Malaysia in issues concerning the renewable energy industry, supports the creation of a renewable energy economic cluster, and accelerates the growth and expansion of the renewable energy industry in Malaysia.
Innovation, Technology, Telecommunication and Intellectual Property Commitee (ITTIP)
Addresses the needs of members who offer products and services related to the ICT industry. Improving the environment in which companies and the local government can work together to exploit technology to create a win-win situation.
