Go Green Walkathon
The students of the International Club at the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) will be hosting their second walkathon on Sunday, 13 March 2011.
ISKL hope to host more than 2000 participants and raise more money to support Shelter Home, Malaysia and Rumah Kasih Sayang with the theme, "Go Green!" walk-a-thon. All funds raised this year will proceed to the two charities.
Last year, the walkathon in May 2010 "Walk for Children 1:Malaysia" gathered around 900 participants and RM78,000 raised for Shelter Home Malaysia (shelter for orphaned and abandoned children).
The patron for this year's walkathon is YABhg Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, Malaysia's First Lady and the ambassador is Lisa Surihani.
The financial goal has also changed to be 150,000 RM. In order to raise these funds for Shelter Home Malaysia and our new Charity Rumah Kasih Sayang,
ISKL is looking for corporate sponsorship. Come support the walkathon this March 13th (Sunday)!
