New Members 2012

AMCHAM Malaysia Membership comprises of U.S Multinational Companies (MNCs) and local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).  They are classified into 3 categories, namely Large, Medium and Small. Having access to the Malaysian Government and the U.S Embassy, Representation in High Level Dialogues, Corporate Social Responsibility, Networking Opportunities are just a few of the benefits of joining the AMCHAM Malaysia Membership.

To date, the statistics are as follows:

As part of our ongoing efforts to step up membership participation with the Chamber, we have revved up our corporate membership. This represents a 30% increase in large corporations and a 20% increase in small & medium corporations joining us.

Our membership drive included inviting non-members to attend events such as the AMCHAM 35th Annual General Meeting & Luncheon featuring Tan Sri Dr. Zeti  Akhtar, The Human Resource Best Practices Conference and the TPP Dialogue with Datuk Dr. Rebecca Sta Maria of MITI and other  programs for the potential members to get a feel of who we are and what we do to represent the interests of U.S businesses,  Investments and the Malaysian business community as a whole.
