AMCHAM and British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC) organized a casual inter-chamber golf outing at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club on October 6, 2005. This was to give the Board members from both Chambers an opportunity to get to know each other better and to look at future opportunities for collaboration between the two organizations.

AMCHAM governors Rick Bender and Paul Walters joined BMCC Chairman, Datuk Peter Wentworth and BMCC Board member Bob Olivier at the outing. The other BMCC golfers were Tony Heneberry and Des Hassan. AMCHAM was also represented by Mike Krampf and Jay Clements from ProJET Malaysia.
